The geography of the Aveyron also offers some of the best water based leisure activities, thanks to its rich natural heritage of rivers and its numerous lakes. Like Pareloup lake, a real inland sea situated at the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Grands Causses, explore it in a dinghy or a catamaran.

White water activities such as canoeing, kayaking, rafting or even aquatic walks can be done all year round. With family or in a group, the Gorges du Tarn or the Gorges de la Dourbie, the lush green valleys of the Lot and the Aveyron are excellent for these outdoor aquatic activities.
