Every Monday morning, (Tuesday when Monday is a public holiday), the sheep market attracts breeders from the region as well as numerous buyers from neighbouring départements. It starts at 9.30am with lambs, sheep at 10am and young lambs at 10.30. The establishment of this market in 1992 necessitated the construction of a suitable building. The main grape variety is the mansois, it is only exceptionally mixed and never more than 10%. the soil makes the difference by providing subtle nuances according to the location: limestone on the upper slopes, limestone scree on "rougier" mid-slope and "rougier" lower down.
